ABOUT US!ALEXANDER CHANDLER
Family background: Alexander’s family first ventured to Texas in 1693 eleven generations ago. He is a direct descendant of the last messenger of the Alamo and first mayor of San Antonio. Real estate is the family business. Alexander’s family has been active in Fort Worth real estate since the mid 1800’s by receiving the first land patent in Tarrant County. Real estate is a tradition they take seriously.
General Education: Alexander grew up in Fort Worth and graduated from New Mexico Military Institute. He holds a Graduate of Arts degree from Texas Tech University with a major in Literature and a minor in Mass Communications. This is important because two of the major facets of real estate are marketing and negotiating which is predicated on language skills.
Real Estate Background: Alexander has been involved in the real estate business all his life. In 1996, he accepted a position as an assistant to the owner of the Sothebey’s International Realty affiliate in Taos, NM and partnered with the top sales agent. In 1997, he received a New Mexico Broker’s license. Long Realty Company, in 1998, recruited Alexander to Tucson where he worked side by side with some of the most successful production agents in the country. Along the way, he earned an Arizona Broker’s License and management asked him to be an agent trainer in their most successful office that boasted daily production of over 1.5 million in closed sales. Always looking for a challenge, he managed subdivisions in Tucson while maintaining a flourishing residential sales team. Alexander’s team sold a unit every 4.7 days for two years with a gross production of over 35 million in closed sales. They also pioneered mid-priced luxury homes in South Tucson and helped a community rise from scrub to a place where children play and families thrive. An experience Alexander calls “indescribable”.
Alexander has earned a Texas Broker’s license; Accredited Buyer’s Representative and Graduate of the Real Estate Institute designations. He also serves as an instructor and mentor to fellow agents. Alexander believes, “We learn by teaching”.
